Yea and verily, we did venture out onto the heath and frolicked in the snow. And it was fun. And cold. And slightly damp. But fun!
I took way too many photos, and froze my fingers, but we stopped by a cafe for hot beverages and cupcakes.
All in all, a perfectly lovely way to spend a Sunday. Even if it is April!

It's currently snowing, which looks beautiful in my garden, but it's not snowing enough for it to actually stick. Plus it's too warm in London.
These big white flakes keep falling, and then melt once they land. And surprisingly, they've been falling for at least an hour now.
snow is so quiet, if I wasn't looking out the window, I probably wouldn't even notice that it was falling.

Writer's Block: My favorite memory
I wouldn't normally do this, but this question jumped out at me.
My favourite memory would have to be standing on the beach at night in Hualien watching the fireworks and lanterns being released with my Dad.
Seriously one of the best moments and something I'll always remember - there was this amazing sense of joy and freedom.

Music Help!
It's a colleague's birthday soon, and I've been tasked with purchasing his present. He's quite a fan of Australian music, so I thought I could maybe purchase a compliation album or two. Problem is, I'm so out of the loop, I don't even know where to start.
He's into more alternative type music, I know he likes Machine Gun Fellatio, but I can't for the life of me remember what else. He introduced me to Laibach (his dad once played trumpet with them!) and he used to be a music journalist in Eastern Europe before he moved to London.
Does anyone out there know of any compilations of good aussie music? All I can think of is Hottest 100, but that's probably not quite what I'm after.

Today we put up our xmas tree. Not too much different from last years, but there's a couple of new additions. Jen went to Amsterdam last weekend and brought back a beautiful bauble from Delft.
And as we continually seem to fail at finding a (non-tacky) topper for the tree, this year it's Cecil the curious cow, who is feeling a little confused at finding himself tied to a tree. :)
I can't believe it's December already!
